So can we conclude that the reason the democrats threw Hillary under the bus to elect Obama was because...?

I said this in 2008 and I'll say it again.....why is anyone surprised by the events of the Democrat primary? Black males got the right to vote prior to any female so I'm curious why people thought sexism would be trumped by racism?
