Ouch! How does a mole get removed and does it hurt?

So i have had this little mole like bump on my neck for years now although it is not the colour of a mole and my doctor says it is harmless. However, i am getting more and more and now have five around my body. The rest are very similar although they are darker in colour. I am thinking i might want to get them removed and the doctor said i dont have to but if i want to i can. So my question is how do they remove something like this and does it hurt? Nail polish bottle broke and I got cut on it?

On Thursday I had a bottle of brand new silver nail polish. I only used it once, and that was the night before. I grabbed my toothbrush and the container that it was in knocked my nail polish bottle down. It shattered and I cleaned up all the nail polish and I swept it up but I guess I didn't do it right. Yesterday I was looking for a belt under my bed and I stabbed my finger on a piece of the bottle. There was dried nail polish on the piece of glass. It would not stop bleeding. I put some triple antibiotic plus along with a bandaid on it. It stopped bleeding but the glass with the nail polish is still in my finger. It hurts every time I bump it. It doesn't hurt if I don't do anything with it, or if I touch it. Only when I press on it. It won't come out and I'm terrified to use tweezers, they hurt like hell. Is it dangerous to keep it in there? Will it come out on it's own eventually? HELP!

Found a baby Mourning Dove, what should I do?

I found a baby Mourning Dove on the ground behind a tree at my house. And don't say I should leave it alone and wait for its parents to come. Trouble with laptop!!?

K so the story is, i got my laptop brand new and it worked for half a year. a few weeks ago it started acting up and freezing really badly everytime i tried opening google chrome or itunes or some bigger program. Then i turned it off by holding the power button (the bad way), and then the black screen with writing popped up and said, "Windows Error Recovery" and tells me to insert my windows installation disk and restart my computer, along with two other steps. Except, i dont have a windows installation disk. And i dont know what it is. So, i told my school principle about it and he said to re image it. So i got it re imaged like 4 times since my laptop was having problems with connecting to the internet. Its working, but freezing up again and wont let me open things. i've tried opening itunes and it wont pop up. Same with the google chrome. And my laptop is super slow, and it used to be soooo fast! .. but i restarted it the improper way again, and now its saying the error thing again but i can press enter on the start windows normally selection. I keep entering tht mode, but its stuck on the friggen Starting Windows screen. Ive tried getting on several times now, its annoying and no one knows what to do. HELPP!! =[ I payed good money for it.. =[

I was cleaning the sink last night, its a big square stainless steel one. On the left hand side there is a round hole, not sure if that is the overflow. Will I ever be able to get that cd out?

I have had a cd stuck in my stereo player in the car for about a year. I read here on Q&A about how to get it out by using a very thin spatula with double-sided tape..slide it in, hopefully the tape would stick to the cd..then I could remove the cd from the unit. That didn't work. Instead I somehow managed to trip the mechanism whereby the cd kept noisily spinning in there. I couldn't shut it off...the radio either. Even when I turned the ignition off..the cd player was spinning. I took the car to my mechanic who tried..no luck. He temporarily disconnected the battery, which stopped the player from spinning. Had I not taken the car in, the cd player would have eventually drained my batter. When the mechanic reconnected the battery...everything was fine, except he couldn't get that blasted cd out either. I think I somehow managed to push the cd down further into the player when I originally tried to get it out with the spatula. I could see the cd. Perhaps I should have tried to grab it with tweezers??? I'm wondering though, will I ever be able to get that cd out of there?? Any suggestions? By the way..that cd had a label on it, (BIG mistake), so I'm also wondering if that label may have come off, making the cd further sticking to the inside of the player. Please help!!

I didn't see the bee and I stepped on it 3 days ago then wiped my hand over my foot instantly. I think the stinger broke and half is still in my foot! A trick I tried on a pediatric patient was to place a piece of tape on the area where the splinter is and allow it to stick really good. Then remove the tape (pull the tape the opposite dircetion it is in your foot) . If there's a tiny piece of splinter left, the tape should adhere to the object and you'll have it ! This works really well on multiple tiny splinters such as cactus and is quicker too !!! Happy removing !

My new bearded dragon out of viv is he scared?

I am fair skin with dark hair and I've always had a problem with these hairs (legs and bikini area) that grow right underneath the top thin layer of skin. They don't hurt or create a red bump as typical ingrowns are know to. These can be seen, and generally look like the hair is just resting on the skin but when you touch it you cannot feel it because its right under the verrry thin first layer of skin. Like, if I were to give it a good scratch it would probably come loose. I usually clean some tweezers and pluck it out but because they happen all over at once, especially my legs, getting them all out creates redness and it just looks awful. I'm currently trying Tend Skin but haven't seen much progress with that. I'm too embarrassed to wear shorts, it's that bad. Happens on my bikini line too, but mostly on my legs. Are these still considered ingrowns and will ingrown treatment products work? Not to mention I've always had really sensitive skin, and I often get "inflammation" around the hair follicles after I shave and even when my legs feel smooth after shaving I can still see the hair where it got cut off...(again, that's embarrasing all in itself on top of the ingrown problem!). Can home pregnancy test be affected by a "possible" ovarian cyst?

Now let me first off say i dont know if i have a ovarian cyst. I am 30, i went through IVF. Got pregnant, and had a miscarriage 5 weeks into pregnancy. I did not have a DNC. My body returned a HCG level around 0 naturally. I do not have PCOS, but have been diagnosed with "unexplained infertility". I had my miscarriage in mid february, and stopped taking my fertility meds then. It is now april and have still not gotten my period. Cotton swab stuck in ear?

I was cleaning my ear with a cotton swab and the cotton didn't come out, I tried removing it with tweezers and it seems to have pushed it in even more and now it's not visible. in November I was finishing up the cross country season and while showering a find a tick next to the back of my knee. So I have this pimple on my nose and it`s apparently inverted meaning the puss is inside. The jack has a little lever that gets moved when a plug is inserted that opens the speaker ground so the audio only comes out the ear phones. When the plug is removed, the lever springs back so the speakers can work. The fix is to open the computer and repair the jack.

I just recently lost my twin babies :( I was 12 weeks along and the doctor told me their hearts just stopped beating. I had to have a dnc surgery and it didn't go very well. He always suggests me ways in which I can do something to save my marriage and bring my husband back.Three months ago he came to our city and wanted to meet me.I went to see him at the hotel and he expressed his feeling of liking for me,and requested me to have a secret relationship with him without letting any one else know (He says he dint imply a physical relationship).His wife was also my good friengd . I think it would be a better idea to go, she won't thunk you'r wasting her time because she's there to help. She will probably bring up the topic she wants you to talk about or if you can't think of anything she'll help you out. She's not going to think badly of you for not wanting to speak up just tell her you're nervous And she'l understand, and I think not turning up is more attention seeking as you are getting attention from the head teacher telling you to go. 6 week old fetus stuck to scar tissue after miscarriage?

I have a friend that told me that she is 6 weeks pregnant (not sure) but says that it will have to be aborted pretty much because if it grows and the fetus and placenta detaches then it is life threatening but saying it is scar tissue from a dnc but i had one and was not aware that i had any scar tissue which i may but i was able to get pregnant after the dnc with no problems. Someone who has been through this a little advice? Have you had a dnc and scar tissue and were still able to have a healthy baby? Do you get scar tissue from one? How do i get glass out of my foot?

so i steped on a REALLY REALLY small fragment of glass and its in there pretty deep. Ive tried removing it with tweezers and cuticle clippers ive soaked my foot with salt everything i can think of to get it out. it is very painful to walk on. Plz dont tell me to go to the doctor because the clinic is closed here and im pretty sure my friendly ER would be a little ticked if i took up there time for a sliver. my problem is that this has happend to me before (i think) and ended up needing surgery on my foot. (i had a small little bump on my foot my doctor thinks was cuz i steped on something and upon cutting my foot open found NOTHING) i will be sooo mad if i go to the doctors and they want me to go through surgery AGAIN on the same foot just under my incision so i can sit in a wheel chair for another 5 weeks . . any suggestions to keep me from being butchered again would be nice!!!

Transferring to a better high school but assistant principle won't let me?

If the school is within the district you are living the principle has no right to keep you within their school. The transfer of a child from one school to the next is the parents decision. Initially what the principle is doing holding you back is illegal. I think your family should look into why the principle is refusing transfer or bring it up with the superintendent? I can't give too much information because I don't know the entire situation. Best of luck on the transfer.

Why don't my friends wanna hang out with me?

Hey guys I really need some advice. Okay so here is my story starting from grad 8. When I entered grad 8 I had a hand full of friends. I was not the popular guy but I was no loner. But I had one problem. I skipped school everyday. I was barley at school. But I still hanged out with my friends and they still made up stories to my teachers when they asked them where am I. So I am grateful for that. Anyways I skipped school until I was in grad 10 and during grad 10 my vice principle had enough and told me to go to this special school so I can catch up on all the work I missed and he said I can come back for grad 12 which is grad year. So I agreed and I went to this school not telling my friends I just sorta left without telling anyone except my family. So I went to this school for 2 years and got lots of work done. But during those 2 years I never once hanged out with my friends I just told them what happen and talked to them on facebook time to time. I have an older brother and sister and they both always go out and hang out with their friends. So I thought I'll just message all of my friends on facebook asking them if they want to hang out. All of them always made up excuses. And for 2 years it was like this. The only time I went out is when my brother went and hanged out with his friends because my friends for some reason did not want to hang out with me. And my sister, mom, and dad always say "You have no friends so you go and hang out with your brothers friends" I just ignore them but in the inside it hurts me because I really feel like I have no friends. I'm 17 and my brother and his friends are 20. They like me though because they say I'm funny and they feel like they can do anything when I am around them becasue I am younger what ever that means. They always ask my older brother when he goes out and I stay home doing nothing other then browsing t.v. channels for 2 hours "Dude wheres your brother? (me) Hes MIA (Missing Out In Action). So they like me but I still feel like I'm not wanted by them becasue they are probable thinking "Doesn't this kid have his own friends as well." Then one day this girl that I know asked him the very same question the next day and he pulled out his phone and gave her the number. What is growing from my head?!?

I put my hair up, and I noticed in the part what looked like a white hair. I'm only 16, so I found this odd. I thought it might have been string or something, and I tried pulling on it, but it was attached! I looked closely at it and noticed it was really thick, I thought of floss. I took the tweezers and pulled it out. It just slid right out. Then I noticed it was attached to a piece of normal brown hair, and I pulled the two hairs apart, if you could call it a hair.. The end of the normal hair was abnormally thick. The white hair, had this gross stuff on the end. It was slightly red as if it was bloody, and then it had a thick black follicle on the end! It was nasty and I have no idea what it was! I was thinking it was some kind of nasty infected hair, but I still don't get why it was white! Any ideas?

Does rubbing dead skin cause scars?

Does rubbing off the dead skin on my face cause scars? If I don't my nose gets flakey and around my chin I get little skin dots that rub off too. Or could just be picked off with a tweezer. My nose seems fine but it looks like my chin area is getting mini trenches it almost looks like wrinkles in a way. I'm only 18 so I think it might be from rubbing. Is it? Or does rubbing cause nothing?

Is pushing back your cuticles bad for you?

My friend wants to be a nail designer when she is older, so i asked her if she could try something on my nails. She takes a pair of tweezers and starts pushing back my cuticles all the way until they get bunched up to the point that you cannot see them at all. I say to her "Isn't that bad?" and she replies, "No, i chew and bite my cuticles clear off all the time and nothing happens!". Sac is measuring 2 weeks behind from LMP but doc cant see a fetal pole, yolk sac or heartbeat.?

Ok a few weeks ago I went to the doctor to confirm my pregnancy was in my uterus and not my fallopian tube, for I was at risk for a ectopic pregnancy. I shoukd have been 7 weeks from my LMP, my sac was measuring 5w4d.. He couldnt see a fetal pole or yolk sac or detect a heartbeat. So he drew some blood to check my hcg levels and had me come back in 5 days for another sonogram. When i returned for my follow up scan my sac was measuring 6 weeks exactly, but still couldnt see a fetal pole, yolk sac or heartbeat.. But kept informing me that my uterus is VERY tilted. My hcg levels were pretty high so he wanted to check them again. He sent me home called me the next day with the blood results and my levels were rising. But he told me since he didnt see anything he wasnt sure if this is going to be a successful pregnancy, but said hes not ready to do a dnc yet, so im basically just suppose to wait and see.. I personally think this doctor is a quack. So mabe a i just ovulated late in my cycle and everything just wasnt developed yet??? Has this happened to anyone?? Any advice on what I should do next??? I want to get a second opinion from another doctor but just want to see what others experiences has been. If my sace is measuring two weeks behind from my lmp then it should be measuring right about 8 weeks this week. Should I go ahead and make another appointment or wait until my sac should be measuring closer to 10 weeks. Thanx in advance.

I have a 16 month old son and when he was 3 months old i had a miscarriage i was only 3 weeks so i didnt need a DNC. But it messed up my period pretty bad. Right after my miscarriage in march of last year i didnt get my period until july when my gyno prescibed me with provera (medication to start my period). and then had a regular period right after but then again after that didnt have another period until dec. of 2010. so in that whole year i think i had maybe 3 periods. january of this year i had a regular period and then the begininng of feb until the last week of march i had a two month period. about 10 days later i had very light spotting. its been on and off for about the last week. and my boobs hae been pretty sore as well. me and my husband are trying to have another baby and have been trying since the day after my last period(last week of march). i took a test on friday and it was negitive im going to take another today or tomorrow but pretty much my question is am i less fertile since i misscarried?

Solar, yes, I agree. It's obvious when the Repubs lose a seat they've had for 40 years over a single issue, killing Medicare. And the article is correct. It always has blown me away how many c0ns here on Y!A violently oppose Medicare without even knowing its history and purpose. Also, I'd bet none of them are rich as rich people DO NOT hang out on Y!A. So if someone is 35 years old and has been paying into Medicare for 10 or 15 years, they seem to be OK with being told, "You're on your own with health care when you're 65." They are not thinking how much money they'd have to save just for medical insurance after they retire. Then have money for living expenses too? It ain't happening. But they're to busy following FOX news and lobbying for the rich -- who don't care about them -- to understand when they're 65+ and fumbling around trying to figure how they're going to get their meds, or pay for a hospital stay, while keeping up with rent, food, and electricity, then maybe they'll finally get it .... the rich won't be helping them!

Why do people look at economic stats in measuring success?

Generally speaking yes, but when you take into account that the current administration has spent more in 2 months than all the previous administrations combined, you have to realize that things are going to get much much worse. We're looking at a crash of catastrophic proportions here not just the normal economic ebb and flow. We have to print more bills which means massive inflation and when we default on the $ we've borrowed we'll bottom out quickly. Growth is not silly to reference to when you realize the kind of massive debt we have. Even if the feds made the income tax rate 100% it would not even cover the interest on the debt we have now. When you have the normal ups and downs in an economy all of what you're saying applies but when the unemployment rate is still hovering at 9.1% not counting the people who have given up on work you know taxation is not going to increase revenue because there's not enough people contributing to the tax base. The massive spending is at fault. The kind of change we're looking at reaping from Obama is of catastrophic negative proportions because of all the spending. The libs really believe debt is just a number but we will at some point default. Even 100% taxation will not save us now!!!
