It might be an ear fungus. The discoloration could be the fungus and not your skin. I've never heard of regular hearing loss causing dizziness, lightheaded feelings or ear aches. If it is a fungus, the doctor will probably have to clear out the buildup with a water pick and prescribe antibiotics.
