Will liberals ever admit that Birtherism was started in 2008 by democrats in a challenge to McCain?

We did not ask to see his birth certificate. What we asked for and got was a clarification on if someone, like McCain, was born on an American military base if that constituted being a naturalized American citizen. Now if you check real closely, you will see that when the issue was decided, the Democrats were satisfied and STOPPED. The birthers never stopped crying about it and ignored the fact that the short form was all that was legally required by the United States government and ALL of the state governments. z
