I think it would be a better idea to go, she won't thunk you'r wasting her time because she's there to help. She will probably bring up the topic she wants you to talk about or if you can't think of anything she'll help you out. She's not going to think badly of you for not wanting to speak up just tell her you're nervous And she'l understand, and I think not turning up is more attention seeking as you are getting attention from the head teacher telling you to go.
