My dog had a tick, am I at risk?

My dog got a tick yesterday. So we pulled it off with tweezers (just one) and put a tick collar and spot on treatment on her. This morning I woke up and saw another strange White thing on her but it came off when I touched it with a pen. Will there be more ticks and could I get one from her? If so, how can I stop the ticks and kill them (if they are on me and around the house) I'm sorta worried about this now so please!
