Goldfish swallowed a rock :( plz help!?

hello, my little fishie had a rock stuck in his mouth when i got home from work 2day...my mom tried to get it out w/ tweezers but we're not sure if it came out or if it just went deeper...I want my fishie to be ok but i dont know what to do...he tries to eat, but spits it all out again, which makes me think its still in there. He's not as energetic anymore and usually just floats around..what will happen?? will it pass through? could it have come out of his gills when we tried to pull it out?? or wont he make it...?? i cant see the rock in his mouth, but i have a feeling its still in there... :( plz help me
