Skin grew over back of earring really infected what to do?

this is a very old peircing, like a couple years old. today i noticed the back (its not butterfly but the round kind that are bigger on the back part, ouch) has grown into my ear. I tried to freeze it and pull it out with tweezers but no luck, it will be a couple days before i can go to the doctor and i scared of an even worse infection since i dont know how long my ear has been this way. what do i do?
