Piece of a 5mm headphone jack stuck in guitar amp input?

since i got my amp from one of my friends, there has been a small piece of a 5mm headphone jack stuck in the headphone slot. its never caused a problem, but a few days ago i decided to try to get it out so i could use my new sonys with my amp. I got a piece of it out with some tweezers and a tiny screwdriver, but its mostly still in there. and now, it seems ive pushed it in farther so now the amp thinks there are headphones plugged in and no sound comes out. any suggestions?
